What is ToCan Training?
ToCan Training is a department within ToCan Media which has been set up to provide training in various skill-based subjects.

What subjects to you teach?
We are currently offering training in digital stills photography, digital video, photoshop and graphics. We can also offer training is arts and crafts via our sister site: www.candicecrafts.co.uk

What qualifications do you have to teach?
Candice is a qualified teacher. She is also a Graphic Designer with over 20 years’ front line experience in design studios in the graphics industry and is therefore eminently qualified to teach graphics. Photography qualifications held by Candice include City & Guilds and she is currently teaching digital photography and photoshop techniques at Barnsley College.
Tony has over 20 year’s experience in the video industry and has worked for several government agencies. He has also taught Media degree students at Barnsley College and is therefore more than qualified to teach video production techniques.
Both Tony and Candice have current CRB enhanced disclosures, making them qualified to work with under-age students and vulnerable adults.

 

Do you provide online resources?
Yes. Our Student Resources button will take you to a page which has been designed for current students to access course notes and other helpful teaching/learning resources such as powerpoint presentations used in classes.

What crafts do you teach?
If you take a look at our sister site you can see a range of crafts done by Candice. She can teach any of these, either on a group or one-to-one basis. Costs of training will depend on demand and materials provided.
